MEMBERSHIP & pricing

community member

 Community Membership is perfect for athletes who would enjoy being part of the team but do not want all the benefits of our Coached Athlete program. This option is geared towards those who may want a lesser amount of feedback, are currently training on their own, or, perhaps, working with a private coach but would also like to do some fun, challenging workouts with others. As a Community Member you can come to any of the coach-led bike, run, or group workouts to challenge yourself and be a part of a group. 

Community Membership includes:
  • access to and coaching at all virtual and in person group bike, run, and Saturday workouts
  • printable 12-week Sprint distance training schedule and 20-week Olympic distance training schedule
  • membership to the team Facebook group where you can meet up with others for workouts, hear about social gatherings, and participate in team challenges
  • membership to the team Garmin group
  • clinics on nutrition, bike maintenance, changing flats, and more!

Pricing:
Monthly:  $50/mo 
6 Month Discount: sign up for a 6 months upfront and you will receive a 10% discount (total of $270 paid at signup which is equal to $45/mo)
1 Year Discount: sign up for 1 year upfront and you will receive a 25% discount (total of $450 paid at signup which is equal to $37.50/mo)

**Community Membership only includes the printable Sprint and Olympic training plan and does not include other individualized or group training plans 


COACHED ATHLETES

Coached Athletes are individuals who want more attentive coaching while still being part of a team. Each season TRI RVA targets specific team races ranging from Sprint to Ironman. The group workouts throughout the season are specifically geared toward the team events and, as a Coached Athlete, you will receive more coaching feedback and have more interaction with your coach at the workouts and throughout your training.  Coached Athletes will follow a periodized and detailed training schedule geared toward the team races* and individuals can receive any necessary updates/changes to the the training plan as the season progresses. TRI RVA accepts a maximum of 15 athletes into the Coached Athlete program.

Coached Athletes receive:
  • access to all virtual and in person coached bike, open water swim, run, and group workouts
  • periodized training schedule for team designated Sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman, or Ironman events on Training Peaks
  • season planning to include training for multiple events as well as edits to the training plan as the season progresses
  • power and/or heartrate based training
  • baseline and periodic testing in all 3 disciplines of swim, bike, and run
  • unlimited phone and email contact
  • membership to the team Facebook group where you can meet up with others for workouts, hear about social gatherings, and participate in team challenges
  • membership to the team Garmin group
  • clinics on nutrition, bike maintenance, changing flats, and more!

​Pricing:
1 year: equal to $100/mo ($250 due upon signup; followed by 10 monthly payments of $95)
6 months: equal to $125/mo ($150 due upon followed by 5 monthly payments of $120)

*Team Races are discussed and decided upon throughout the season. If you cannot attend one of the team races or would like to target a different race we will provide you with a training plan geared toward the triathlon race(s) you would like to prepare for. We also offer plans for non-triathlon events such as marathons, ultras, centuries, etc.
